Before joining Edify, Callist Kayigamba worked for World Vision Rwanda as an Education Technical Program Manager and served as the co-chair of Rwanda Education NGO Coordination Platform (RENCP). Previously, he served as a lecturer at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) and also held the roles of Department Secretary and Head of Department at different periods. Before joining NUR, Callist had again worked at World Vision, first as an Education Specialist for Child Headed Households, and later as an Area Development Program Coordinator
Callist was appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) and currently serves as both the Vice Chairperson of the Board and the Chairperson of the Audit Committee. He is also Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Pentecostal Church of Rwanda (ADEPR).
Callist holds an MA in Population Studies from the University of Nairobi in Kenya; a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in India; and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the National University of Rwanda in Rwanda.
