André stepped into the role of Regional Vice President of South American Programs in July 2026, having first joined Edify in 2024 as the Regional Director of Human Resources in Latin America. In this capacity, he offers strategic guidance to local country teams, championing the advancement of sustainable, Christ-centered education throughout South America.
Before joining Edify, André spent over a decade dedicated to advancing Christian education with ACSI Latin America across both Guatemala and Brazil. During his tenure, he held multiple key leadership roles, including Director of Operations, Finance, and Human Resources. André holds an MBA in Business Management and a BS in Marketing from Campbellsville University, Kentucky. His extensive experience navigating international operations is enhanced by his multi-lingual capabilities; he is fully fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Romanian.
After spending several years living and serving in Guatemala, André and his wife, Sura, recently relocated back to his home country of Brazil. Outside of his leadership responsibilities with Edify, André is a passionate musician and a photographer who finds great joy in exploring new cultures and capturing the beauty of the world through his camera lens.
