Bulus is currently a Catalyst for Diasporas with the Lausanne Movement. He has been in theological education in Africa and the US for over three decades. He was lecturer, dean, and later President/Provost of JETS (Jos ECWA Theological Seminary, Nigeria) and Dean of the Cook School of Intercultural Studies at Biola University, California. He also served as pastor of several churches in Nigeria and the US. Thirty years ago, Bulus and his wife started Almanah Rescue Mission, a ministry for widows and orphans in Jos, Nigeria. They also co-founded MMD (More than a Mile Deep), an educational ministry to train pastors in Africa who cannot go to seminary full-time. Bulus studied in Nigeria, Scotland, and the US.
