Abner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a specialization in Instructional Design and Educational Technology. He began his professional career as a teacher at the primary and secondary levels. Later, he served as an instructor at New Horizons Guatemala, which opened the door to the world of technical and professional training.
His experience led him to join corporate training teams and universities, focusing on the development of corporate eLearning programs. In 2019, he joined Edify as Impact Assessment and Educational Technology Officer. He now leads the Edify team in Guatemala while supporting Impact Assessment Officers across Latin America.
Abner had the opportunity to receive a Christ-centered education through scholarship from preschool through secondary. His background shaped his deep commitment to education and the values and principles instilled in him throughout his journey.
He is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and developing strong leaders to advance the expansion of God’s Word.
