The Need

47% of Children Haven’t Completed Primary Education

Situated in the Great Rift Valley of Africa, Rwanda is home to 12.6 million people.

Rwanda ranks in the 29th percentile for learning, indicated by literacy rates.

When comparing the pupil-to-teacher ratio, Rwanda is 57:1, while the median for other low-income countries is 40:1.

51% of children aged 13-18 belonging to the poorest communities are out of school altogether.
