CODING
While not every child will grow to become a programmer, our aim for this project is to help students understand programming, how computers work and how to apply knowledge from programming to solve real-life situations, creating opportunities for them in the future.
Learning Outcomes: Coding helps students develop their problem-solving and computational thinking skills through the creating/identification of real-life problems and developing logical steps in solving them using the Swift Playgrounds and other applications available on the iPad.
Technology Used: iPad
How technology support learning: Students have access to Swift Playgrounds which is made up of puzzle-like programming activities which help students understand the basic to the advanced coding concepts and procedures. Students also have access to other built-in coding activities which help them develop their problem-solving skills through evidence-based programming using drones and sphero robots.
